Finding wallpapers suited for the ridiculously crisp Retina Display on the iPhone 4 is no easy task. I spent a few hours this morning scouring deviantART and a few other sites, and walked away with tons of great options.

Here’s the first of what will eventually be a few packs.

No one will like each and every wallpaper found in the pack, but there should at least be something for everyone.

Most are dark, some are minimal, most have texture, some have patterns or stripes, and all are terrific examples of the great work found at deviantART.

This morning I watched from my kitchen window as my neighbor emerged from her house. She stumbled down the front steps and across the lawn to the end of her driveway where she collected the morning paper.

The dodo truly is a majestic bird.
